ikea hack
We've been needing 2 night tables for our bedroom and when I saw this Ikea hack on For Me, For You I was instantly smitten. She just used the solid pine Rast drawers from Ikea ($49 cdn), painted the drawers white, stained the outside a dark walnut and changed the knobs. It's beautiful and doesn't look like it's from Ikea. LOVE. Now, I will try to scour Craigslist for these drawers because I'm cheap.Labels: bedroom, ikea hack, one for the memory bank

I second the Craigslist idea, I always searching there first...plus, changing doorknob handles on furniture can immediately turn something from blah to fabulous!

Craigslist-great idea! And I LOVE this look as well. When I first saw it I showed it to my boyfriend and said "I want to do this!" he wasn't quite as smitten with them as I was. I'm going to keep trying to convince him though! I can't wait to see what you end up with.
