vote smart
There are some very important elections coming up and the most important thing everyone should do is vote. Sure there's the big election down south (is McCain really a serious a threat? Yikes!), but there's also a Canadian election in a couple of days. Not sure how to vote? Check out Vote for Environment which tells you how you should vote if you don't want a Conservative majority government. It uses Google maps to check out ridings in your area for some strategic voting. Yes, it's a stupid way to vote but really, I don't want a Conservative majority. Elizabeth May of the Green Party is the only leader seeking proportional representation which is the only fair way to vote. So get out there on October 14th and vote (strategically)!

I think Palin is creepy! If McCain croaks, she will run the country. Yikes!!
Thanks for the link. I checked it out. Interesting info. My riding is and always will be NDP because of the newly-arrived immigrant majority in the district.
Not to be bossy, but... the Greens aren't the only party calling for proportional representation.
Check out http://www.ndp.ca/platform/otherpriorities/federalism
But you're right, we do need to vote out the Conservatives.
bijoux, yeah Palin is scary! and so is McCain for that matter.
my riding is always ndp (which is how i've always voted anyway). let's keep our fingers crossed!!
anon, no idea that the federal ndp party were also for proportional representation. good to know since i do vote ndp! yes, let's hope the conservatives don't get voted in with a majority!!
