clearly, good things are growing...

I'm seriously in love with my garden right now. So much is in bloom and growing. Vegetables, herbs, flowers...it's all good news.

You're so lucky!! I barely have anything growing in my backyard because of the shady trees overhead, from the neighbours yard...sucks! I planted all kinds of things (onions, garlic, tomatoes, squash, celery, raspberries) and have nothing growing so far. I LOVE that purple flower. The colour is so brilliant!!!

Fantastic plants you have there! How big is your patio??? Looks like you will have a bumper crop!

Bijoux, did I mention already try your front lawn? Well you should! I love the purple clematis too!! So pretty.

Hag, my patio is pretty small, but big enough to have quite a few containers. I'm lucky! I really hope there will be a bumper crop this year!

Yeah, you're totally right! My front lawn gets plenty of sunlight and the flowers out there are doing pretty good but I'd be reluctant to plant tomatoes and other edibles there for fear that during the night someone might snatch a tomato or two or even all of them. I guess the shady backyard would work well for rhubarb and mushrooms though?

Bijoux, I don't think you should worry about theft at all. So many people have front gardens, get rid of your fear! Community gardens are wide open and yes, there is the threat of theft, but I think you'll be fine.
