damaged goods give away: the beautiful project
Uh, didn't I say something about a give away a while back? I did! The thing is, this give away is about damaged goods...stuff that I don't want to sell because the paper had a weird brown bit embedded in it or their was a crack in the fold or the printing wasn't totally perfect. What could I do with the rejects? Just because I don't want to sell them doesn't mean that someone doesn't want them for free, right??
So without further ado, here's what I'm giving away: 4 cards (damaged goods) + 1 perfect card from my shop (who knows which card it will be...except it will be a surprise!). And look, one of the reject cards isn't even available yet in the shop! To enter, just leave a comment below letting me know what is your favorite card available at my etsy shop. Please include your name or a link to your blog (so I can contact you) by this Friday March 20th 5pm PST and I will pick 1 random commenter.

Ha! This is fabulous! My favorite card in your shop is the "Totally Screwed" card. Because, I have to admit, I would die laughing if I received that card (providing I was preggo!)

My fave is "YOU ARE RAD." Come payday, perhaps I'll order it to send to my brother. My family moved to another state so I'm here with my husband, missing my baby brother like crazy. He's 16 now. Kind of incredible that the little boy I taught to pee outside is too big to sit on my lap!

I have a hard time choosing between the "Rah rah sis boom bah" card and the "eat cake, be happy" card. I like the sentiments expressed without actually resorting to the traditional words...
Of course I really love the knit happens card. They are all pretty wonderful though, aren't they?

i love 'eat cake. be happy.' as well as 'happy birthday + eat lots of cake.' they really define how life should be...
i have to say as well...i saw your cards at 'paper-ya' at granville island on the weekend. it made me so happy. not only awesome to see local stuff in stores, but it's always exciting to be able to say 'hey! i read her blog!'

I have to admit I love many of your cards ("howdy", "rah rah sis boom bah", "let's hump"...) and I've been considering placing an order for some time (hello, my name is son, and I'm a card addict!)
however, "hooray for me & fuck you" is my total fave! it's so very rare to find straight-forward language used in such a beautiful & peaceful manner! (I find that cards/tops/etc sporting swear-words tend to be common, obscene, nerdy (or all of the above)
it really made me smile when I first saw this one of yours! so refreshing to see cursing used in an intelligent, pretty yet so sardonic a manner! :)

I love the "even your farts are cute" almost (but only almost) as much as the cheery, colorful "good things will happen" card - which is totally my favorite.
The you look beautiful today card is hands down amazing and fits me perfectly. Not because i look beautiful everyday, but because i walk around saying, "you look beautiful today" to random people/animals. Mainly my boyfriend and my sister's cat. They appreciate it.

I have a hard time picking my favorite, but Your Farts are Cute really makes me smile.
I'm torn. I like a lot of the pun play ones (mums the word), but I still can't choose a favorite. Hmm I think I can narrow it to top two: 'Even your farts are cute' and I really like the color and design of 'Good things will happen', plus it reminds me of some of my favorite lyrics from a song, 'There is no limitation to what can happen'. I adore the uplifting message.

I think you need to create more cards similar to the -Hooray for Me and F-ck You note card- it made me laugh out loud and cycle through a list of nay-sayers.
